ThreadLite support.

Help for installing ThreadLite, using Turbo Chat, activating full access, and understanding the privacy model.

Install

Install ThreadLite from the Chrome Web Store, then open a supported ChatGPT conversation and turn on Turbo Chat from the extension popup.

Trial and full access

ThreadLite includes a 2-day server-backed trial. Full access is currently USD $10 as a one-time launch purchase.

Supported sites

ChatGPT is the primary public target. Other AI chat hosts are treated conservatively until long-chat testing is complete.

Common fixes

Popup shows an unsupported page

Confirm the active tab is one of the supported AI chat hosts, then reload the page and open the ThreadLite popup again.

License key does not activate

Check that the key was copied exactly from the purchase email. If activation still fails, try again after confirming the internet connection is working.

Trial expired

Turbo Chat requires full access after the trial ends. Reinstalling the extension is not treated as a trusted way to restart the trial.

Privacy

ThreadLite does not upload your chat content.

The extension does not upload prompts, responses, chat titles, conversation IDs, screenshots, or page contents to ThreadLite servers.

  • No analytics. ThreadLite does not use analytics or telemetry in the extension.
  • No tracking. ThreadLite does not use tracking pixels or retargeting.
  • Limited storage. ThreadLite stores settings, anonymous install ID, and trial/license status needed to provide the product.
